The two couples engaged to the ERAS Tour concert didn’t have the chance to see Travis Kels and Taylor Swift in a Kansas City Chiefs match!
Carlos Ortega and Brenda Sanchez join Shania and Kyle Sieplensky for their first Chiefs home game on Sunday, September 14th, telling people that they have been attending the music star’s first match at Arrowhead Stadium since the announcement that Engagement was a “full circle” moment.
“I’ve always admired her,” says Sanchez. “And it’s crazy because I think her song continues to me throughout my life. It felt like she was writing a song about my life. We have that special connection. It’s amazing, and it feels like a complete circle of travel.”
Her husband adds:
Ottawa, Canada, who married in Cusco, Peru in October 2024, sang “Love Story” in Sao Paulo on a tour of Brazil on November 26th, 2023, and Swift sang “Love Story.”
Carlos’ detailed oriented suggestions – he raised his head in English, Spanish and Portuguese to help and help those around him – spread.
Fast forward almost two years later, biologists tell people they can’t believe in their fortune when Stubhub contacts them to celebrate their connection with Swift in the Chiefs Games.
Their counterparts on Sunday’s adventures also joined them in the third row, near the 30-yard line just behind the Chiefs bench.

“Oh, we couldn’t believe it,” Shania told people. “We had to speculate a bit. It’s really like going from ERAS to Arrowhead is really perfect. It was just the most unexpected. Today was the best day.”
The Orlando, Florida couple got engaged on April 1, 2023 during a “Love Story” at Swift’s Stop in Arlington, Texas.
“I had to ask him like it was April Fool’s Day,” says Shania. “And I really asked him five times. I, are you serious? Are you serious? He was like, “Don’t ruin the moment.” I felt like everything around me was quiet when it happened.
Shania walked the aisle through “Love Story” at a ceremony in Clearwater Beach, Florida in May.
On the Sunday before the match, she stood in the hallway near Section 118 for over 30 minutes – just below the suite where Swift sat – and we got a glimpse of the superstar.

Swift arrived at the stadium later than usual, and the newlyweds were unable to see her walk.
But their connections remain strong, she says.
“It’s a bit like an invisible string, right?” she says.
