The Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle Teaartart slapped Travisquels during his victory against the Kansas City Chiefs of Arena Corinth in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday, September 5th.
The 28-year-old Tart slapped 35-year-old Kelse into the front of his helmet. The argument followed a two-yard run by the Chief running through Kareem Hunt with just eight minutes left in the third quarter of the game.
The judge threw a flag at the play and called a penalty of unnecessary roughness of 15 yards on the tart. However, they determined that slaps were not “disqualifying actions,” according to sports news.
Former referee Terry Macaulay, who served as YouTube rules analyst on Friday, explained during the live stream that disqualifying him is not enough because the slap was an “open hand contact to the head” from the tart rather than a hair-filled punch.

The penalty moved football to the Chargers’ 11-yard line. Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes reached the end zone on an 11-yard run on the next play, bringing Kansas City’s deficit down to 13-12. Harrison Backer missed the game.
This was not Kelce’s only conflict on Friday night. At the start of the match, he was involved in a brutal conflict with teammate Xavier Worthy during his play.
Kelse had a bright spot during the game, where he scored his first touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Kelse completed a pass from quarterback Mahomes (29) with a 37-yard score in the fourth quarter, celebrating with a winning dance in the end zone. First, the NFL star mimicked the bull, placing his hand on his helmet with his index fingers, pointing it out like a horn, scratching his foot on the ground before charging forward.
Kelce then shook it off along with his teammates Taycan Thornton and Juju Smith Sushaster. The three players shimmered in sync before Mahomes came to grab them.
However, the Chargers later scored another touchdown to increase their lead. The Chiefs added a field goal, but that wasn’t enough, and the charger beat AFC West Rival, 27-21.
