Travis Kelsey detailed how he spent his bye week in New York City on today’s episode of New Heights. Kelsey was photographed on a date with Taylor Swift last Wednesday and Thursday. He also spent the 2024 bye week with her in New York.
Travis Kelce didn’t share his bye week plans on last week’s episode of New Heights, but he didn’t have to leave fans wondering what he was up to for long. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was photographed in New York City Wednesday and Thursday night out and about with his fiancée Taylor Swift.

Today on New Heights, Kelce stopped short of speaking out about Swift, but he did detail exactly what he did during the trip. “I left home for a little while and went to New York,” he began.
“I was able to just wander around, put my feet up, see some cool places, eat some good food, and get a feel for the big city in its usual vibrancy and hustle and bustle,” he said. “Well, my favorite time of year is this time of year when the seasons change from the Midwest to the Northeast. But yeah, it was a lot of fun.” He went to Puffy’s Tavern (pictured without Swift) and “met some friends,” he said.
“It’s cool to give the city that vibe,” he said. “I think that’s one of my favorite things about New York. Just being one with the city, just walking down the streets and feeling the electricity, feeling everyone doing their thing, and meeting some new people along the way.”
He was particularly amused by the locals. “People-watching is one of my favorite things to do,” he said. “That’s another reason I love New York. I love people-watching. You get to see people do crazy things.”
Kelsey also spent the 2024 bye week in New York City. He and Swift went to a Yankees game.
The couple has kept their relationship more private this year. Swift also flew under the radar at Kelce football games, going all season without being photographed arriving at the stadium.
On Oct. 28, a source explained the reason to Us Weekly, saying the attention she gets from her partner’s sporting events is “too much.”
The source added that the couple is currently actively planning their wedding in private and hopes to hold the ceremony next summer.
Everything is “going well,” the source said. “They’re both[very]involved, and Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis wants to help.”
The source added: “They don’t want a long engagement.[They]really want to start a family in the next year or so. Family is everything to them.”
