Travis Kelsey revealed on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights” that the thoughtful gift he gave his fiancée Taylor Swift was “one of[her]favorite things.”
The 36-year-old athlete told his brother Jason Kelsey and sister-in-law Kylie Kelsey that he bought a bread slicer for the pop star.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end chose the gift because “[his partner]served me so much bad sourdough.”
“Oh my god, my gut health is great. I love you, Tay,” he said.
Jason, 38, praised the choice on the podcast as it has something to do with “slicing, which is tough”.
The retired NFL player added, “That’s true. One of the unfortunate things about making fresh bread is trying to cut out the hassle. It’s difficult.”
Kylie, 33, claimed the “hardest thing” was “the responsibility of eating it”, but her husband disagreed.
“That’s the easiest,” Jason said.
Swift, who began dating Travis in July 2023, repeatedly opened up about her obsession with baking while promoting her album Life of a Showgirl in October.
“It’s dangerous… because once you start talking about bread, you can’t stop,” the songwriter told BBC Radio 1. “And it has nothing to do with music.”
When the Grammy winner appeared on “New Heights” last month, she detailed the depth of her “grandma” taste.

“Sourdough took over my life in a big way,” Swift explained to listeners. “I talk about bread 60 percent of the time now.
“When I bake bread all the time, I email my friends and I’m like, ‘Can I send you some bread? I need your feedback. Do you like this one better than the other?’ So I did Rise a little differently,” she continued.
“There’s a whole community of us that I didn’t know about. It’s an underground world,” said the performer, who said he often reads Sourdough Blogs.
At the time, Jason suggested Swift make an orange marmalade version in honor of Paddington Bear.
Kylie admitted on “Not Gonna Lie” in November that her future sister-in-law’s work is “shocking.”
As revealed by her friends via social media, Swift’s current favorite flavors include Blueberry Lemon and Cinnamon Swirl.
