The world’s most famous moment, Taylor Swift and Travis Kels crashed the internet this week with news that they were finally engaged.
Their joint announcement – captioned “Your English Teacher and your gym Teacher are Married” – garnering over 34 million likes and quickly defeating Instagram records by being reposted over a million times.
Marriage is set to create an American lover who wants to start a more powerful family.
In fact, Page 6 is said to be in discussion with Jeff Shaffer, 35-year-old Kelce, executive producer of “Curb Your Ebyasm,” who is appearing in his own television series.
“I know Travis is exploring a lot,” an industry insider told us. “He’s telling Jeff about a show that resembles the ‘curb’ chase after him. He’s going to be playing himself… he wants to act. ”
Page 6 contacts Shaffer, as well as Kelce and Swift representatives.
“Taylor will make him even stronger in Hollywood,” the insider added. “It makes him more relevant, and it means that Taylor is walking down your red carpet, especially when he puts in the film.”
The 35-year-old Swift is worth an estimated $1.5 billion in the wake of her hugely successful ERAS tour, spanning 21 countries on five continents.
And the singer’s stunning engagement ring, worth $650,000, was just a drop in the ocean for Kelse. Forbes estimates that the three-time Super Bowl champion is worth $70 million himself.
As Swift recently joked since they first met two years ago, Kelce met her using his “New Heights” podcast as his own “personal dating app.”
“Taylor has probably noticed over the years that she is more difficult than ever. It’s not who she is, but her pure wealth,” said economist Sinneed O’Sullivan, “Good Ideas and Power Moves: Ten Lessons for Success from Taylor Swift,” Page 6 said.
“The business she has built is bigger than GDP in the small country and her fanbase could be one of the biggest voting blocks in the world where she is CEO, but unlike other CEOs like Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, she is a product of her business.
O’Sullivan, a former professor at Harvard Business School, said there is a clear “synergistic effect” with Kelse. “When you bring together two famous people in their own right, you don’t sound sarcasm, you’re making the total total greater than the total of the parts, but that was useful for both.”
They developed a relationship with public bullying of unity, like when Kelce joined Swift for the London concert in June 2024.
And since revealing their romance in September 2023, Swift reportedly has brought at least $1 billion in publicity and revenue to the NFL, with her fans currently wearing the Kansas City Chiefs jersey.
As Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt told the Hollywood Reporter earlier this month, “We are confident that the Chiefs ranked number one among the NFL teams in the women’s demographics.
Hunt – Swift doesn’t have anyone previously shut down speculation that Swift and Kelce’s romance is a “marketing stunt.” “She obviously had a huge impact.”
“Instead of Taylor trying to integrate herself into the NFL, she ended up taking over the NFL,” O’Sullivan said. “How she’s increased her revenue, reach and NFL demographics are amazing…
“And if she can get a man on board, whether intentional or a by-product of her relationship with Travis, she’s doubled the size of her business.”
It’s even possible that Swift could take her new soccer love to another level. Roger Goodell gave her a green light to buy shares in the club’s minority stakes.
“If she’s interested, I think she’s capable of doing that,” the NFL commissioner confirmed in July. (The financial advisor said the move was wrapped in Swift’s father, Scott and secrets.)
Kelse’s first regular-season game is Friday, and rumors have already swirled that he will be able to retire next year.
This marks his 13th season as a tight end in the NFL. And, as Swiftie can say, 13 is the singer’s lucky number.
In a talk with the “curb” executive, Kelse already immersed her toes in Hollywood waters and made a cameo last October with Amazon Prime and Adam Sandler’s Netflix hit “Happy Gilmore 2”
Swift brought more eyes to “Happy Gilmore 2,” and at its release in July its Instagram account (281 million fans followed suit to promote the film.
“Happy Gilmore 2 put me in the whole movie and cheered me on!” she posted. “Absolutely you have to watch, 13/10, when humans become possible, I’ll go and watch it on @netflix.”
Meanwhile, her recent appearance on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast – Travis and Brother’s former Eagles star Jason signed a $100 million deal with Amazon’s Windery in August 2024, but broke the world record for most simultaneous livestream viewers with a 1.3 million viewer and 1.3 million viewer on YouTube.
Not only did the couple get a two-hour glimpse into the loving relationship with their fans, they also released their 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” using a podcast.
O’Sullivan noted that the day before the podcast, Kelse appeared on the cover of GQ, discussing the relationship in an interview, and that all sports news outlets are also discussing Swift.
A similar timing took place this week. Kelse debuted a new clothing line with American Eagle the day after he and Swift’s engagement announcement.
Meanwhile, Swift is believed to be working on her feature film director’s debut in Searchlight Pictures, a feature film she wrote.
O’Sullivan said he’s seen characters like Kelce and Swift in the Marvel universe. “They’re their own characters, their own protagonists, but they intermix. That’s how Taylor strategically runs her album. Her characters and eras are intertwined.
“Taylor is trying to dominate culture as well as music,” she added. “I don’t think anyone who’s alive today could have been wrapped up in her, but Travis looks happy on the ride.”
