Rob Roush kept his expensive promise to Maura Higgins.
“Traitor” Season 4 winner Roush and runner-up Higgins appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday. During the episode, Rausch gifted Higgins with a gorgeous Hermès Birkin bag.
“Would you forgive someone if they bought you a Birkin?” host Andy Cohen polled viewers about the episode. “yes or no?”
Cheers and jeers erupted as Ms. Rausch put on white gloves and reached for the iconic orange box, carefully unwrapping the handbag. “She says she’s forgiven as long as she has a Birkin,” Cohen continued.
“I knew we could win,” Higgins said. “This is my moment.”
In the season finale of The Traitors, after Rausch betrays Higgins, he promises to give him a Birkin bag and reveals that he was Traitor throughout the game.
Before appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Rausch, who won $220,800 in prize money, was photographed with podcaster Jake Shane after purchasing a Birkin at Madison Avenue Couture, a luxury resale boutique in New York City.
The reality star, 27, told People that Higgins, 35, had actually already told him which Birkin she wanted.
“She immediately said she wanted a burgundy, size 30 with gold accents,” he told the outlet.
“She got the Birkin, so she basically thinks she’s won,” he added.
He also revealed that his Traitors castmate Lisa Rinna helped him purchase it.
“She’s a very well-connected woman and she pulled it off,” he said. “She provided me with all the resources. Initially I was going to get it from a man in Paris.”
“I actually had to go to Paris, and I was going to do that,” he continued. “But now we have someone coming to New York City, so it’s going to be great.”
Rausch and Higgins exchanged some light-hearted banter during The Traitors, but he revealed at the reunion that he actually had a girlfriend for the past two months, after keeping a secret from him.
Higgins also told Us Weekly that she considers Rausch a “brother.”
“I don’t want to spoil this for viewers, but no, nothing happened between me and Rob,” Higgins said.
“People online are saying I’m ‘crazy,'” she continued. “Trust me, you’ll know if I’m d-kmatized.
“If they think I’m flirting, they don’t know me and have never seen me on Love Island,” Higgins claimed.
