Tori Spell once had a comfortable group date with the infamous Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen, but that didn’t mean she was trying to hide him from the authorities.
The daughter of late legendary television and film producer Aaron Spell took her to her “Spel Miss” podcast on Monday to explain how the scene dated.
In the mid-90s, Tori lived with his friend Kevin. Kevin later became a dentist at a Los Angeles condo several floors above the scene. According to the actress, Kevin was not calm at the time, so he and Sheen “partied together.”
“Kevin said, ‘Charlie wants to ask you on a date,'” Tori, 52, told guest Amy Sugarman that she was nervous, “I didn’t want to go alone.”
Kevin told the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star that parents, both Tori and Sheen, were on board.
Foursome went to an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills.
“We were getting to know each other,” Tori recalls a conversation with Sheen, 60, and emphasizes that Kevin is “trying to set them up.”
“And what I learned that night is how unimaginable (gloss) is,” she marveled. “I’m off the charts and his humor was. I’ll talk about what’s fascinating, clever, funny and witty. This guy was.”
Tori described the outing as a “good moment” with the “two and a half men” star. However, she detailed some “bad moments.”
“I get the call: ‘Come downstairs. Charlie has this party. You have to come here, please” she recalled, adding that she and her friend agreed to go ‘for a second.’
When Sheen opened the condo door, he allegedly provided Tori with crack pipes.
“It was dark and there were bodies everywhere,” she told Sugarman, confessing she was scared.
“I said, ‘No, thank you,’ and he said, ‘Do we have all the drugs?”
Later that year, Tori explained that the US ex had a warrant for the arrest of Sheen, who allegedly attacked her then-girlfriend, Brittany Ashland.
Tori didn’t know any of these details. “They were actively looking for him, like a helicopter.”
She says, “All I know is I was standing in the laundry room and Kevin goes in and says, “T, I need to ask you for your favor.” And I was like, “Yeah, of course, anything.” And he’s like, “Can I hide Charlie?”
According to Tori, Kevin claimed that “no one knows.”
But she quickly shuts down the plan and says, “Are you kidding me? No! I’m not… sorry. I think he’s a really great guy.”
Tori says Sheen was eventually arrested in the building (he was placed on probation after not suing a misdemeanor battery charging).
The actor told the same story in his new memoir, The Book of Sheen, saying, “Tori made me feel bad, but I didn’t want to go near radioactive. I don’t think I could blame her.
Sheen was ordered to go to rehabilitation after violating probation in 1998 after suffering from an overdose of cocaine near fat.
He told Page 6 earlier this month that he had been calm and single for eight years.
