According to podcast co-host Amy Sugarman, Tori Spelling’s home is at “borderline hoarding” levels.
On Friday’s episode of “misSPELLING,” the two candidly discussed the state of affairs at Ms. Spelling’s home. Spelling revealed that she had been debilitated by the illness for eight weeks and was forced to take time off from work, and Sugarman candidly blamed the 52-year-old actress’s frequent illnesses on her “disturbed” lifestyle.
Sugarman told Spelling that her home was a “mess” and that she was having “extreme” trouble getting rid of things.
Ms Spelling admitted she was overwhelmed with caring for her five children with ex-husband Dean McDermott. After Mr. Sugarman acknowledged that her living room had been turned into a “gift suite,” he asked her to take a photo of it and send it to him.
Sugarman was surprised when he saw the photo.
“Tori, this isn’t good,” she said, noticing that Spelling’s Christmas tree was still up.
“You can see the bones here. It could make your shelves look really pretty, it could make your living room look really pretty. You have something beautiful,” Sugarman continued. “I can’t even sit there.”
“It’s a marginal hoarding, I’m not going to lie.”
“Yeah, it’s all just piled up here,” Seling admitted.
Mr. Sugarman said Mr. Spelling “currently has a pile of 400 STs at home.”
“We seem to like this, but it’s actually a problem,” she stressed.
Spelling claimed that the living room was the worst place in the house, but admitted that if the president of iHeartRadio asked him to do so, he wouldn’t take a meeting from home.
“I’ve stopped inviting people over,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum said.
Spelling said the house was “presentable” when she and McDermott were married and lived together. She also said she had help at the time.
Mr. Sugarman told her, “I think you need help. This is just a mess. … I think that all contributes to why you haven’t been able to work for two months.”
Spelling and McDermott, 59, have three children together: Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, eight. They divorced in June 2023 after about 18 years of marriage.
In November, a final divorce judgment revealed that the couple owed more than $1.7 million in federal and state taxes.
