Tori Spelling claimed Kim Kardashian’s bodyguards prevented her from chatting with the reality star while out with her kids on Halloween.
The “Beverly Hills 90210” alum recalled running into the Skims founder while he was trick-or-treating in his Hidden Hills, Calif., neighborhood.
“I’m so good at gauging people that I can see her looking at me out of the corner of my eye without letting her know I’m looking at her,” she recalled on Wednesday’s episode of the misSPELLING podcast.
Ms Spelling, 52, explained that Ms Kardashian, 45, said something to a friend who was walking with her and they both turned to her.
“I was like, ‘Oh, Kim sees me here and I know Kim’s here,’ and I was like, ‘I haven’t seen her in a long time. God, I hope I can reach her again,'” she said.
In the end, the actress initially stated that she was too “nervous” to confront the reality star and was disappointed that she walked away.
Spelling finally got the courage to approach Kardashian after running into her old friend Jessica Simpson, whom she hadn’t spoken to in 25 years.
The “Scary Movie” star explained that he approached a group of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alumni and tried to get the alumni’s attention.
“I’m going, ‘Kim!’ And I was holding my arms out like[a wave],” she explained, hoping that Kardashian would reciprocate the gesture.
“As I was doing this, my bodyguard came booming out of nowhere and was right across from me with his arm blocking me and said, ‘Sorry, sorry, no,'” Spelling said.
The podcast host explained that he wanted to tell the bodyguard that he has known Kardashian for 30 years, but decided not to.
“I felt very embarrassed,” she said. “I felt depressed and thought, ‘I’ll never say hello to anyone again.'”
Spelling clarified that Kardashian had “already moved on,” adding, “She never heard me say Kim. She never saw me at that moment. And, you know, the bodyguard didn’t know who I was. He was doing his job.”
And she claimed that her bodyguard did not hurt her and was “very professional.”
“He just held his arm out to me like, ‘No, you can’t walk any further.’ He was very kind,” the “Scary Movie 2” star said.
However, sources said that while Kardashian and her family were out in a golf cart, they did not run into Spelling.
Elsewhere on the podcast, Spelling said he has known Kim “all his life” because the businessman was close friends with her brother, Randy Spelling.
“She was always coming to the mansion,” she recalled. “Paris[Hilton]and Kim, I felt like they were really good friends. I mean, we were family friends… They’re really good human beings.”
A representative for Ms. Kardashian could not immediately be reached for comment to Page Six.
