Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott owe more than $1.7 million in unpaid federal and state taxes.
The astonishing amount was revealed in a final judgment filed during the divorce. The former couple owes the IRS $1.2 million, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital. They also owe more than $500,000 in unpaid taxes to the California Franchise Tax Board.
Mr. Spelling and Mr. McDermott will each be responsible for at least $600,000 of the IRS debt, and any unpaid taxes owed to the California Franchise Tax Board will be split equally.
In addition to unpaid taxes, the couple owe $37,000 to American Express and still have outstanding balances at City National Bank after failing to repay a six-figure loan that grew to nearly $400,000 over a decade ago.
Additional debts include $288,000 owed by the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum to an individual, $69,000 to another unidentified individual, and $10,228 in uninsured medical bills, according to the report.
Court documents also show that McDermott owes $22,000 in student loans and $20,609 in uninsured medical expenses.
Representatives for Mr. Spelling and Mr. McDermott did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Mr Spelling’s astonishing monthly income was previously revealed in court filings.
In an income and expense report filed Sept. 5 in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Page Six, McDermott claimed that Spelling’s monthly income ranged between $3,000 and $75,000 “depending on the job.”
McDermott claimed to earn $3,800 a month and said his financial situation had changed significantly over the past year “due to the SAG/AFTRA strike and changes in the industry.”
“There’s been a lot less acting and producing work,” he said.
McDermott, 59, and Spelling, 52, announced their separation in June 2023 after 17 years of marriage. She filed for divorce nine months later.
Their divorce was finalized earlier this month. Us Weekly reports that Spelling has filed court documents stating that she and McDermott have reached an agreement regarding child support, asset division, and child custody.
The former couple have five children: son Liam (18), daughter Stella (17), daughter Hattie (14), son Finn (13) and son Beau (8). McDermott also has a son, Jack, 27, with Mary Jo Eustace.
