Cote de Pablo enjoys motherhood.
In an exclusive interview with Spyscape for NCIS People: Tony & Ziva New York City Red Carpet at Spyscape, the 45-year-old actress shared how she embraced motherhood in the season’s storyline.

“I’m a mother, so it was really interesting for me,” De Pablo tells people.
At some point during the NCIS run, the DePablo character was thought to be dead. However, it was revealed that she was alive in Season 16 and that DePablo returned to some episodes in Season 17. During the final episode of DePablo’s NCIS, Ziva decides to go to Paris to reunite with Michael Weather’s Tony and daughter Tali.
The new series picks up as Tony and Zabi are raising Tali together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they have to run through Europe, try to figure out who is after them, and perhaps even learn so that they can ultimately become their unconventional happiness.
DePablo’s own experience helped her blend aspects of her life into a fan’s favorite family.
“Since I became a mother, it’s become a kind of organic. But obviously, Michael was a snack, exploring this,” she tells people.

The Chilean American actress and singer did not reveal the age of her child or the identity of her father. She kept her personal life private and finally romantically linked to actor Diego Serrano.
De Pablo praised her “charming” NCIS daughter. Gie is a newcomer in the NCIS franchise.
“It was really interesting to see her bring a lot of Tiva and Tony with him. She wasn’t from her ex-mother,” De Pablo tells people. “It was really interesting to see what she did, and just spend six months with us. She took things, and that was fun too.”

De Pablo also explains her theory of why fans continue to take root with Tony and Ziva.
“I think it was all the unresolved stuff they’ve seen all along, you know, it was almost a decade of mothership. I think it was their joke,” she told people.
