Tom Holland is keeping fans up to date after suffering a concussion while filming “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
The Netherlands went to Instagram on Saturday to promote its recent gala for Brothers Trust, a nonprofit run by Marvel Star parents. The caption states that Holland is “feeling good and under repair” from the injury.
“What a night! Another great success,” Holland wrote. “My brother’s trust means more than I can say, and I have to thank my mom and her amazing friends for having another incredible night. I hope you enjoy raising money for a great cause. Sorry, I feel better, I feel better, thank you dad. The show has become quite a fannier.”
On September 22, Variety reported that filming for the “brand new new day” was suspended after the Netherlands’ injuries. Production is scheduled to resume on September 29th, and delays will not affect the film’s release on July 31st, 2026.
On August 10th, Sony marked the opening day of filming with a behind-the-scenes video in the Netherlands on the set in Glasgow. The Netherlands is a good fit for the famous webslinger and has been shown to perform blockbuster stunts, including tanks.
“It’s funny, I wear a suit, somehow I feel it’s different this time,” Holland says in the video. “It’s the first time I’ve had a fan on Set Day 1, so sharing this is really exciting. There are familiar faces on the set. I’ll do my best and hopefully, I won’t put any pressure on them.”
