Tom Brady and Logan Paul are shooting each other again.
The former NFL quarterback and WWE star have been talking trash to each other for over a month ahead of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, but they didn’t hold back while exchanging jabs during a livestream draft event in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
“Tom, what do you want? I want you to say something. I’ve got a lot to say on my podcast, and I don’t have anything left to say?” Paul said on stage at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, after entering the draft room wearing sunglasses and flexing his muscles in a black tank top.
“We might have a match this weekend. WWE can’t stop me from kicking your ass on that field.”
Brady later accused Logan of picking fights with several NFL stars in recent days, calling the move “the stupidest thing ever” and joking that he should “wear a helmet” to avoid injury when they play at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend.
After some back and forth, comedian Kevin Hart (Dolsky’s co-host of Draft) playfully tried to get the conversation going, asking, “What the hell is going on?” The crowd of athletes and entertainers burst into laughter.
“Honestly, I’ve never laughed so hard at a draft,” Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin exclusively told Page Six afterward. “Tom Brady talking smack…a few minutes ago I thought Logan Paul and (Rob) Gronkowski were going to kill each other…We need extra security around them!”
“The funny thing is, Brady is like a brother to me and I love Logan too. They seem serious right now,” he continued, noting that he’s just being competitive. “But on Saturday night (after the game), I’m going to give them a few drinks, make up, and be friends again.”
The headline-grabbing rivalry between Brady and Paul sparked last month when they were discussing a flag football game at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party in San Francisco, California.
In an interview with Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, which was filmed on the red carpet, Brady accused the wrestler of not having the proper skills to compete with the NFL’s elite pros.
“Actually, I’m a little worried about you. You’re a good athlete, but they’re on another level,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion teased, calling Paul athletic, “so cute.”
The WWE star laughed at those comments and clapped back, saying, “I’m at the highest level. I’m at that level,” before reminding Brady that he was an “all-state linebacker” at Westlake High School.
Since then, the two have continued to trash talk each other at various events and on social media.
Brady, 48, and Paul, 30, will play for different teams in the highly anticipated Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium on Saturday.
Notably, the retired NFL star, who serves as the team’s founding FFC captain along with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, will be reunited on the field with former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski at the inaugural event.
Brady and Hurts also selected Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Zity to the team (as the No. 1 pick in the draft), followed by Alvin Kamara, Antwon Winfield Jr., DeVonta Smith, Stefon Diggs, Von Miller, Damar Hamlin, Patrick Peterson, and Terrence “Bud” Crawford.
“It’s pretty cool. I’ve been a Tom Brady fan for a long time,” Miller, a linebacker who played for the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders, exclusively told Page Six after being drafted.
“Obviously, I’ve had to play against him for a long time, tackle him, be against him, and now we can be on the same team. So it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Paul will play alongside captains Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels on Team Wildcats FFC along with Saquon Barkley, Kyle Juschuk, Odell Beckham Jr., Davante Adams, DeAndre Hopkins, Derwin James Jr., Luke Cushley, Jalen Ramsey and popular YouTuber/Steamer IShowSpeed.
The third team to participate in the first-of-its-kind competition will be represented by USA Football’s reigning IFAF Flag Football World Champions, the United States Men’s National Team.
“Tom Brady called me a year ago and said, ‘I have a great idea. We have to have the biggest flag football game in the world,'” Rubin explained to Page Six on Wednesday night when asked how the idea came together.
“He said, ‘I need your help. Let’s do this together.'” I said, “Of course, you’re family.” Let’s go! ”
Brady previously said in a statement obtained by Page Six that he was “motivated” to participate in such a groundbreaking global event.
“The fact that we will be playing in the same stadium that will host flag football during the Olympics will show the world what will happen in 2028,” he exclaimed. “But I’m not coming back to the football field to lose, that’s for sure.”
Fans can watch the Flag Football Classic game on FOX, FOX One and Tubi starting Saturday at 4pm ET/1pm PT. The event will also be streamed worldwide on the Fanatics YouTube channel.
