Kyle Chrisley was arrested Saturday night in Tennessee on charges of domestic assault, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
TMZ reported Sunday that officers detained Todd Chrisley’s son around 7 p.m. and took him to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
Kyle was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a first responder.
In addition, Kyle was reportedly charged with three additional charges of retaliation for past actions.
Page Six reached out to Todd’s reps and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, but did not immediately receive a response.
Kyle, 34, has a long criminal history and was arrested in Oklahoma in May 2019 on suspicion of drug possession.
At the time, he also reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly making death threats to his ex-partner earlier that year.
However, the charges were later dropped because her ex-husband did not cooperate with the investigation.
In September 2019, he admitted that he had attempted suicide due to side effects from the medication.
“I’m on medication and I had side effects and tried to kill myself,” he said on an episode of the Chrisley Confessions podcast. “The drugs caused me to have all kinds of crazy thoughts.”
Then, in March 2023, Kyle was taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated assault after allegedly brandishing a “fixed blade” during an argument with his boss.
His wife Ashley Chrisley denied the allegations in an exclusive interview with Page Six.
“Kyle has a knife for work, but he never pulled it out or brandished it or used it on anyone,” she said, initially claiming the argument was a verbal altercation.
“The other man pushed him away and the situation became physical,” she claimed. “Kyle has PTSD, so it was more self-protection on Kyle’s part.”
Todd, who shares daughters Kyle and Lindsey Chrisley with ex-wife Teresa Terry, previously revealed that his eldest son was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was “going to struggle with it for the rest of his life”.
The convicted fraudster, 56, is currently married to Julie Chrisley and has children Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley and Chase Chrisley.
