After months of speculation, the “Marena” star confirmed his relationship with the director in 2023.
“What I can say… First of all, I’m happy to meet a guy,” she told El France at the time. “It’s one of the rare encounters in life. I know a man, I love him, and now I’m going to meet the director, another adventure begins.
“I love Tim and I have a lot of respect for Tim Burton.”
In their romance, Burton, 67, cast the 60-year-old Bellucci and played Dolores Laferve in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
The longtime pair reportedly began dating after awarding Burton the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lumiere Film Festival in Lyon, France in October 2022.
The director of “Batman” was linked to Helena Bonham Carter at the end.
The two — who share a 21-year-old son Billy and 17-year-old daughter Nell — split in 2014 13 years later.
The former couple first met on the set of “Planet of the Apes” in 2001 and collaborated on several films, including “Alice in Wonderland” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
Bonham Carter, 59, revealed the painful division of the 2022 podcast Therapy Works.
“I went through a very painful divorce,” she said, but the two were not officially married.
“It was something that lasted. It’s something else, it’s not that finite. It’s not over. If you divorce someone and have children, it’s kind of marriage. The relationship has to change.
Meanwhile, Bellucci had previously been married to “Black Swan” actor Vincent Cassel from 1999 to 2013.
They share two daughters: Deva (age 18) and Léonie, 13.
