TikTok chef Tineke “Tini” Younger has returned to the social media platform for the first time since losing one of her twin daughters in November 2025.
In her first TikTok video in three months, Younger thanked her fans and supporters and addressed claims that her placental abruption was “my fault” because she tried too hard.
“I saw a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, it’s because she’s abusing herself by filming videos and doing this,'” Younger said in a Monday, Feb. 2 video. “It wasn’t my fault. Unfortunately, that’s why twins, especially monodye twins, are at higher risk.”
Younger also explained that he released all of his previous videos five weeks after filming.
Younger announced in a Facebook post on Nov. 26 that she had experienced placental abruption and lost her “sweet girl Aria (Baby A)” as a result. The social media star announced that she and husband Antoine Wright Jr. would be giving birth to twins in July 2025, but said at the time that the baby’s twin sister survived.
In a Feb. 2 video, Younger called her surviving child “Baby L” and said she wanted to protect her daughter’s privacy.
According to BabyCenter, monody (formally known as monochorionic diamniotic) twins are twins who share a placenta and each have their own amniotic sac. According to Healthline, one of the risks of giving birth to twins includes placental abruption.
According to the Mayo Clinic, placental abruption “occurs when the placenta partially or completely detaches from the lining of the uterus before delivery. This reduces or cuts off the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the baby and can cause significant bleeding for the mother.” Not getting enough nutrients or getting enough oxygen can limit growth and lead to premature birth or stillbirth.

In addition to placental abruption, Younger said she suffered from pre-eclampsia after giving birth and had to receive a magnesium drip. According to the Mayo Clinic, postpartum preeclampsia “occurs when high blood pressure occurs immediately after childbirth and there is excess protein in the urine,” which “can lead to seizures and other serious complications.”
She said the young child “couldn’t sleep for four days straight” after giving birth. “It was really bad,” she explained, adding, “I’m still dealing with complications.”
The new mother revealed that the twins weighed more than 10 pounds when she was born, and that her “ribs still hurt” from carrying them and the placenta.
Younger also said she talks about Aria to her sister “all the time” and has created a memorial in her room called “Aria’s Corner.”
“It has her photo, her footprints and her urn,” Younger added. “My sister is always looking at her…she’s smiling. The most conscious she’s ever been is when she sees her favorite monument. She literally always tries to look at it.”
“When we try to put her to sleep, she tilts her head and just stares at it. When we show her a picture of her sister, she just looks at it and smiles,” Younger said. She also said she plans to be with Alia “always” as she wears some of Aria’s ashes and Aria’s name and her sister’s name around her neck. “So they’re always together.”
