Tiger Woods appeared in court on a charge of careless driving in Martin County, Florida, about a week after being arrested for drunk driving.

The 50-year-old professional golfer was charged Thursday with a non-criminal charge of careless driving crash and was fined $163, according to documents viewed by Page Six.

He does not have to appear in court for the traffic violation.

A representative for Woods did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The ticket arrived shortly after police released body camera footage of Woods being arrested after a rollover car accident.

In the video, the athlete can be seen getting out of the overturned Land Rover after the crash, kneeling in the grass and talking to officers.

“I looked down at my cell phone and all of a sudden I heard a bang,” Woods told responding officers.

A second video showed Woods taking several sobriety tests, which he failed, before authorities decided to handcuff him and arrest him.

The ticket was obtained shortly after body camera footage of Woods’ arrest was released Thursday.

At a press conference held after the accident, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek told reporters that Woods “exhibited signs of impairment” and “refused a urine test” after the accident.

He was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence, misdemeanor criminal damage to property, and refusing to submit to a legal test and was taken to the Martin County Jail. He was released from custody approximately eight hours later.

According to a police report obtained by Page Six, authorities allege the golfer had “two white pills” in his “left pants pocket,” which were later “determined to be hydrocodone.”

Budensiek said Woods initially claimed he had not consumed any alcohol or illegal drugs before the accident and that his breathalyzer tests showed “a bunch of zeros.”

However, the affidavit revealed that he confessed to taking “several” prescription drugs.

Earlier this week, the Masters champion appeared in court and pleaded not guilty in a recent DUI case.

Hours later, he issued a statement regarding his legal issues and announced that he would be stepping away from golf to “seek treatment.”

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he shared via X on Tuesday.

Woods continued, “I have decided to step away for a period of time to receive treatment and focus on my health.”
“This is what I need to do to prioritize my health and work towards a lasting recovery.”

Woods added that he is “committed” to taking the time he needs to “come back healthier, stronger and more focused, both personally and professionally.”
