Musical legend Tina Turner passed away in May 2023 after a long illness at the age of 83.
Her death took place less than six months after her tragically passing away from complications of colon cancer at the age of 62.
The Queen of Rock and Roll shared Ronnie with her ex-husband, Ike Turner, and was also the mother of three other boys.
She spurted into viewers of “Larry King Live” about “Good Kids” in 1997, recruiting two of Ike’s six children due to her previous relationship.
Before meeting Ike, she welcomed Raymond Craig along with Kings of Rhythm Saxophonist Raymond Hill. Ike recruited a small child and changed his name to Craig Raymond.
There’s everything you need to know about the late Grammy Award-winning sons.
Craig Raymond Turner
Tina gave birth to her first child, Craig Raymond, at the age of 18.
After spending much of his life away from the spotlight and working as a Beverly Hills real estate agent, Craig committed suicide in 2018 at 59.
Tina called it “the saddest moment as a mother” in her 2021 documentary Tina, adding that “he will always be my baby.”
She also theorized to “CBS This Morning” that Craig was “solid” when she died of a self-harmed gunshot wound at her studio city, California home.
“I have a photo of him smiling around him, and I think he feels like he’s in a good place,” she added. “I really do that.”
Ronnie Renell Turner
Tina and Ike, who were married from 1962 to 1978, welcomed Ronald “Ronnie” Renell in October 1960.
He played alongside his mother in the 1993 film What’s Love Do, and in 2007 he married French musician Affida Turner.
The tragedy struck in December 2022 when Ronnie’s wife revealed she had passed away via Instagram at the age of 62.
The Turners confirmed his death in a six-page statement. “Families are raising expanded support and prayer pours on Ronnie from around the world, and honourably demanding privacy during this time of great mourning.”
A Los Angeles County medical inspector supervisor concluded that he later died from complications of colon cancer.
Ike Turner Jr.
The two children Tina adopted were one of two children, Ike and his ex-wife Lorraine Taylor.
Ike Jr. follows in the footsteps of parents in the music industry and won a Grammy Award for producing his father’s “Lysin” record in the 2006 traditional blues album category.
In an interview with the Daily Mail in 2018, Ike Jr. claimed that he had not spoken to his mother in nearly 20 years.
“Tina raised me from the age of two. She is the only mother I ever knew,” he said at the time. “I don’t think any of my siblings have spoken to her for a long time.”
Tina’s nie Jacqueline Brock confirmed in October 2025 that “with great sadness” Ike Jr. passed away the day after her 67th birthday.
Michael Turner
Tina also hired Ike and Taylor’s second son Michael, born in 1959.
Of all her children, Michael is not known about him as he has never entered the showbiz, but sources close to the family said he and his brother Ike were “devastated” as they were removed from the 2021 documentary.
Three years ago, Ike Jr. told the Daily Mail in a 2018 article, Michael was in a “recovery home in Southern California” and needed “medical assistance.”
Ike Jr., who had not designated Michael’s condition at the time, blows up Tina for not visiting him, saying that his brothers were “doing great things” and admitting that he had sent Michael Money.
