The winner of the next season of “The Voice” has already booked a big gig.
The winner of Season 30 of the NBC singing competition will earn the right to perform on the main stage of the Governors Ball Music Festival in 2027, thanks to a partnership between Live Nation Studios, the festival, and “The Voice.”
The winner won’t be revealed until the Season 30 finale in December, but technically this will be Governor Ball’s first booking of 2027. They get the chance to sing in front of tens of thousands of fans at New York City’s biggest music festival. The Gove Ball took place last weekend at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens and featured headliners Lorde, Baby Keem, Stray Kids, Kali Uchis, A$AP Rocky and Jenny.
Season 30 of “The Voice” will premiere on NBC in September and will feature returning coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, as well as newcomers Riley Greene and Queen Latifah.
“Live Nation Studios helps artists tell their stories from start to finish,” said Ryan Loft, head of film and television at Live Nation Studios. “The Voice’s partnership with Governors Ball creates a meaningful opportunity for emerging artists to take the first step in telling their stories through live performance in front of audiences around the world.”
“Governors Ball has always been about celebrating both established stars and the next generation of artists,” said festival co-founder Tom Russell. “By partnering with Live Nation Studios and The Voice, we are giving remarkable new talent the opportunity to perform on one of the music industry’s largest and most diverse stages and connect directly with fans in a live festival environment.”
“The heart of The Voice has always been to highlight undiscovered talent, giving up-and-coming artists a platform to showcase their singing talent and grow their stage presence,” added Audrey Morrissey, executive producer and showrunner of NBC The Voice. “Working with Live Nation Studios and Governors Ball gives us a unique opportunity to take the exposure of our Voice champions to the next level.”
