Alyssa Farrah Griffin is enjoying the view as a new mom.
The 36-year-old welcomed her and husband Justin Griffin’s first child together, a baby boy.
Whoopi Goldberg made the announcement on “The View” on Wednesday, enthusing, “The first thing we want to do is congratulate Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy.”
She noticed that the little one arrived at 7 pounds and 19.5 inches.
Alyssa was absent from the show on Tuesday, with Goldberg telling viewers that Alyssa was “in the hospital right now” and in labor.
“We wish her all the best as she awaits the birth of her baby boy,” Goldberg said. “It’s kind of amazing! Welcome to that baby!”
Alyssa debuted her bump in October 2025 and also revealed her due date in February in an Instagram post.
“Baby Griffin is coming,” she wrote at the time.
On the same day, Alyssa shared the news of her pregnancy with viewers, exclaiming, “I’m so happy that I don’t have to hide it anymore. I can breathe!”
Alyssa praised Justin, 37, during the broadcast, calling him “the most supportive husband in the world.”
She continued, “I’m so happy. I went through IVF. It was hard. It took about a year. It took five times, but (my son) is here. He’s coming.”
Alyssa spoke to People in more detail about the IVF process, noting that she was diagnosed with endometriosis during the process.
“I have lived my whole life without being diagnosed,” the political commentator told the outlet. “So that just adds to the complexity.”
Alyssa went on to clarify that she and Justin would eventually like to have two children, starting with a boy. The reason for this is, “I’ve always liked the idea of an older brother taking care of his younger brothers.”
She added: “We have two male dogs so I’m really looking forward to being a mother to a boy, even though he’s outnumbered at home.”
Alyssa and Justin’s longtime relationship briefly ended in 2020, until the “devastated” ABC personality posted a “sexy beachside photo,” which she revealed on “The View” in 2023.
“He called me the next day and we were back together within a few days,” she boasted. “Let them know what they’re missing. … I love a good thirst trap.”
Justin took a knee in July 2020.
The following November, the couple walked down the aisle in Vero Beach, Florida.
While celebrating their fourth anniversary on Instagram, Alyssa called Justin her “favorite person in the world.”
