“The View” co-host Sarah Haines has admitted with frustration that her husband Max Shiffrin’s three young children constantly disturb them in the bedroom.
When asked on Friday’s episode of the daytime talk show where the best place he’s ever had sex is, the former “GMA” host, 48, replied, “Anywhere on vacation. Max and I have young kids, so.”
At that point, Joy Behar joked, “There are no kids around.”
“Oh, no way. I wear my mom’s hat so easily. It’s the least sexy thing I wear,” Haynes jokingly added.
Ms. Behar, 83, who is the mother of daughter Eve Behar, gave Ms. Haines some tips for finding time alone with her husband.
“I’m always told that if you have children and you want to have sex with your husband, you should close the door and shut him out,” Behar said. But Haynes quickly shot down the idea.
“No, but they knock on the door,” Haynes replied. “They bang on the door.”
After another co-host suggested giving the kids video games to keep them occupied, Haynes revealed that she and her husband had “tried everything” to no avail.
“We don’t have a lot of screen time, so we literally give them sugar and video games and push them into a corner. And they need us right away,” she explained.
“You can’t even get there mentally. You’re like, ‘Ah!'” It’s annoying. It’s a turn off. It’s like your parents calling you when you’re staying overnight. ”
This isn’t the first time Haynes has confessed in the bedroom on the show. In 2024, she revealed that she used sex as a ploy to ask Shiffrin about household chores.
“So what happens is, sometimes when we recover, we think about all the things we still have to do,” the panel explained on the talk show about the various mistakes people make “after the deed.”
“I stopped and said, ‘Babe, did you get a call from the plumber today?'” she said with a laugh.
“I’ll have to wait a little longer. So I’ll look at my phone. Give him a good five minutes before you ask him any questions.”
Haynes also joked in September 2021 that she used sex to get her husband to sleep with their child.
“I just turned to Max and said, ‘I’m going to make a deal with you if you just let me put my kids to bed,'” she joked at the time, People reported.
Haynes and Shiffrin are parents to three children, Alec, 9, Sandra, 8, and Caleb, 6.
The couple married in November 2014.
