Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are just friends despite the press tour that makes romantic headlines.
“There was immediate chemistry, but it never developed into an intimate relationship,” the source told Page 6 on Friday, reporting that the “Naked Gun” co-stars promoted the romance for promotion.
It is said that both Anderson and Neeson’s inner circle were “supporting them,” but their relationship as peers “never could have been any more.”
However, the co-stars’ friendship is certainly “real” and is also said to be “they are always friends and connected.”
Page 6 contacted commenters for Neeson, Anderson and Paramount.
The “Baywatch” alum also hasn’t spoken publicly to speculation, but sources said Friday that “everything between them is real.”
“Neither of them took part in any advertising stunts,” the insider added, denying reports that all of their flirty behavior on the press tour was for promotion.
Earlier this summer, fans around the world lost their minds at the gathering of Hollywood stars when they saw them play all the love dovey during a film press tour.
To burn more chatter, insiders previously told Page 6 earlier this month that everything Neeson and Anderson did on the red carpet was “very honest.”
“They don’t appear on the red carpet and are just fakes, not adorable. That’s not either,” our source added at the time, further denying that there were “fakes.”
Neeson’s close associate Andy Cohen was once a good friend with Natasha Richardson, the late wife of the “Schindler’s List” star, but he also publicly gushed out about his new gal companion.
“She’s an independent woman, just like Tash. She loves to cook. She’s moving on with her.
“Me and all my friends in this circle, whatever this is, it’s very stopping. Shipped.”
Neeson’s youngest son, Daniel Neeson, also appeared to be publicly supporting the rumored fugitive of his father.
In late July, sources told Page 6 that the “Last Showgirl” star always found the “Star Wars” actor “striking and funny”, but the pair shared a warning that at the time they “still understand things.”
The source added, “What’s going on? They may not know.”
