“The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” star Taylor Frankie Paul is looking for love in “The Bachelorette.”
The 31-year-old was revealed to be the franchise’s 22-year-old season lead in Wednesday’s “Call Her Daddy” episode.
The announcement was a surprise given that not only is Paul a star of Hulu, but that the upcoming season is expected to be another rendition of “The Bachelor.”
The network gushed in a press release saying, “Utanative is ready to trade headline making-hark breaks for home town dates, so they will begin earning their bachelor’s degree.”
The statement continued. “(Paul) is a breakout star in “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” and captivates millions of people with her raw, silent storytelling.
She highlighted her as “three single mothers” as the reality star shares her daughter Indy with her son Ocean, 5 years old, and her son with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen and ex-husband Tate Paul.
Paul, in particular, had a second “Bachelorette” to have a child before the show, and Emily Maynard was the first in 2012.
“(Paul) shares her life’s highest and lowest unfiltered values unfiltered,” the press release concluded. “Humor, resilience and fearless openness encourages others to embrace the chaos of life and own their stories.”
Alex Cooper teased the public on an Instagram upload on Tuesday saying, “Call her daddy.”
Podcast host, “Change Plans,” captioned the video. This captioned the video showing Cooper cutting into a cake to reveal the pink frosting.
Paul was open to listeners about her dating preferences, including future matches where the kids are not “deal breakers.”
The man should be willing to move to Utah, but she made it clear that they do not need to share her Mormon faith.
“I want someone who believes in God if possible,” pointed out the Tiktok star. “When you raise a child, it can be confusing when you don’t.
Paul added, “I don’t care what religion you are. How do you treat others?”
She rose to fame last year when “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” premiered and Paul starred alongside Jen Affleck, Whitney Lewitt and other members of Mamatoku.
The premiere date for Paul’s “The Bachelorette” season has not yet been revealed.
