“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reportedly began filming season 15 tests without Teresa’s guidance.
“We have a potential new cast member who filmed with Margaret Joseph, Dolores Catania and Melissa Golga in mid-August,” the insider said every Thursday.
“They want to see how the new girls work on camera with the veteran cast members of the show.”
The insider added that Giudice, 53, was not involved in the test shoot, but she, along with friends Jackie Goldschneider and Jen Fessler, “we’re still considering it being part of a new season.”
One potential newcomer with a look at the network is said to be podcast host Michel Barone.
Test filming is a common practice on reality television, which took place before official production began.
Bravo officials still have paged Page 6 “no official casting decisions made.”
A Giudice representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Page Six.
Last season, they closed with Gudith, Jennifer Aydin, Catania, Golga, Joseph, Daniel Cabral, Rachel Huda and friends Goldschneider.
But the list seems to be changing quickly.
Bravo executive Andy Cohen revealed that new casting is taking place in the popular franchise earlier this summer.
“We’re casting in ‘Jerseys,'” Cohen said on a June episode of ‘The View’. “It’s really a deep hibernation and we’re actively casting there and looking at the future of what it is.”
He also assures fans that the show isn’t on the network’s chopping block, adding that he and Bravo believe “Rhonj” is “a great franchise and we love it.”
Cohen previously revealed that the cast of “Rhonj” had undergone a massive overhaul last July after the show’s season 14 finale and an unconventional reunion special.
The series was on ice the following month as insiders shared that filming was likely not resumed until 2025.
“We have no decisions on what will happen or not at the show until early next year,” the source told the Daily Mail at the time.
According to Insider, the decision was made during the 14th season, which was filmed between August and October 2023, after viewers also reached “New Series Law.”
