“The Morning Show” was updated for the fifth season on Apple TV+, one day before the premiere of season 4.
The drama series starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon follows the leading players on the morning news show and the network that airs it. The logline for Season 4 states, “With the UBA-NBN merger completes, the newsroom must tackle the new responsibility, hidden motivations and the elusive nature of truth in a biased America.
Along with Aniston and Witherspoon, the cast includes Billy Cradup, Mark Duplas, Nestle Carbonle, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Baerey and John Hamm. Newer in Season 4 are Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.
Charlotte Stoudt is the showrunner and is director Mimi Leder. Media Res creates a series. Executive producers include Stoudt. Leder; Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer via Media Res.
