No fan of “The Lincoln Lawyer” will object to this news. Netflix’s popular legal drama has been renewed for season 5 on Netflix ahead of the launch of season 4.
Season 4 of “The Lincoln Lawyer” launches on February 5 and is based on Michael Connelly’s novel “The Law of Innocence.” The fifth season is based on the novel Resurrection Walk and consists of 10 episodes.
Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Daylene Rodriguez said, “We’re so excited to share Season 4 with our viewers, coming February 5th, and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next season.” “Season 4 is the most challenging and intense personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on to date, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue that journey in Season 5!”
The official logline for Season 4 reads, “Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) faces his toughest case yet as he works tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of former client Sam Scales. To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam and face off against the DA, the FBI, and the ghosts of Mickey’s own past.”
In addition to Garcia Rulfo, the season 4 cast includes Neve Campbell, Becky Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Cobie Smulders.
David E. Kelley created “The Lincoln Lawyer” for television and serves as executive producer. Humphrey developed the show and serves as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Rodriguez. Connery, Ross Feynman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson and Matthew J. Lieberman also serve as executive producers. Produced by A+E Studios.
According to Netflix, “The Lincoln Lawyer” has been viewed 171 million times over its three seasons. View count is defined as total viewing time divided by total running time. The show spent a total of 26 weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart.
