Ken Flores has revealed the cause of death to Ken Flores, who helped create the Latinxl Comedy Show.
A new report from a Los Angeles County medical inspector confirms he died of cocaine toxicity. The history of congestive heart failure is also listed as “another important condition.”
Flores passed away on January 28th at the age of 28. The Los Angeles Times reported that the performer’s body was found at his home around 2pm local time. His death was originally confirmed through a statement from his family posted on January 29th on his Instagram page.
“It is a great sadness to see the early passage of my friend, brother and son Kenny Flores. We are shocked and devastated by this loss, so please respect our privacy at this point,” the statement read.
Flores’ death occurred during the 2025 Butterfly Effects Tour, which began on Friday, January 10th, in Portland, Oregon. His final show was held on Saturday, January 25th in Norcross, Georgia, and was scheduled to perform on January 30th, just two days after his death in Phoenix, Arizona.

Flores helped promote Latinos in the comedy world by producing a comedy show entitled Latinzuru with fellow comedian Rene Humbert Valdiviezo.
“Latinle came from the idea of breaking Latinos on occasions that are usually difficult to land to do late-night pre-pandemic combos and backyard covid shows together. Meanwhile, they improved comedy and got our own stage as they pursued their dreams.

“We’ve always been rooting for him and have continued to share the stage to this day. Latinle wouldn’t exist without Ken,” the statement continued at the time. “XL nodded to Ken because he has the ‘big personality of Xtra’ and is such a power. This will inevitably be loved by crowds across the country. ”
Flores had also just filmed his first comedy special in December 2024. The special was later released posthumously on June 6th. lol! Live with Ken Flores can be streamed on Hulu.
