Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s daughters have reportedly completely sided with their mother following their parents’ divorce.
The ex-couple’s 17-year-old daughter Sunday recently went on a rant about Kidman in a new interview, in which she “disparaged” her father, but did not mention him.
In an interview with Elle Australia, Sunday described Kidman as her “biggest inspiration in life” and “an important part of everything” in what she does, which Urban disputed, but was reportedly “numb.”
Sources told the Daily Mail on Sunday that she and her sister Faith, 15, spend most of their time with their mother, per their custody agreement, and that the Oscar-winning actress has not turned her children against their father.
“They made their own choice about their father,” a source told the outlet. “[Kidman]is not that person. Keith hasn’t really tried to make things better in their eyes.”
“The girls have always been very close to their mother,” the source added. “They’re all about her.”
A source also told the outlet that Sunday and Faith were “hurt and angry on her behalf” after her parents separated after 19 years of marriage.
“There’s some resentment towards Keith. If they’re blaming anyone, it’s him, not her,” they said.
Urban is reportedly “worried” about his relationship with his daughters, but is hopeful things will improve.
A source said: “He is injured, but we feel he can recover.” “He doesn’t blame Nicole, and it doesn’t seem like she’s keeping them away from him.”
However, Kidman and Urban, both 58, are now reportedly no longer speaking.
“Things got very bad at the end of their relationship and they haven’t recovered,” the source claimed. “Keith seems to really want to live a single life and seems to be going through a midlife crisis since their separation.”
“He has become a completely different person,” the source continued. “It’s like she doesn’t know him at all anymore.”
Page Six reached out to representatives for Kidman and Urban, but did not immediately receive a response.
A source told Australian outlet New Idea that the omission of Urban’s name in Sunday’s new interview made the country singer feel “as if he didn’t exist.”
“He’s trying to put on a brave face,” the source claimed.
Kidman and Urban finalized their divorce in January. According to the agreement, the daughters will spend 306 days a year with the “Baby Girl” actress, while Urban will spend “every other weekend” with them.
Kidman put on a glamorous performance at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony, topping Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez in a moment captured by Page Six on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair afterparty.
