Teyana Taylor was honored with the honor at Monday night’s Elle Women in Hollywood event, wearing a gold look with just a skirt and hood.
Taylor’s Balmain outfit, made from a shiny metallic fabric, featured a gathered skirt accented with a thigh-high belt. The rest of the dress is basically just the hood, with a long piece of shiny material rising from the belt and along the top of the head.
To avoid a wardrobe malfunction, a layer of billowing fabric was placed precariously over her chest, exposing her sternum tattoo and belly button piercing, leaving her back completely exposed.
She layered chunky gold rings on her fingers and wore artful gold drop earrings in the same warm hue as her dress.
Her dirndl exposed her ankles and revealed golden high-heeled sandals that snaked down to her calves.
The dress was unveiled in June as part of Olivier Rousteing’s Resort 2026 collection. This was one of his last collections for the house, after it was announced that Antonin Tron would replace him at the helm.
Holding the latest iPhone, she spoke with Elle on the red carpet about her obsession with wallet phone cases. Her dress had no room for pockets.
“I don’t like carrying a wallet. One thing I’ll never do is lose my cell phone. I’ll lose my wallet, I’ll lose my diamond ring, I’ll lose my chain, I’ll lose my earrings…but I’m not going to lose my phone.”
Taylor just wrapped up a whirlwind press tour for Hulu’s latest show, All’s Fair, where the group certainly brought some amazing fashion, and Taylor was happy to continue that at this event last night.
