Who is Teyana Taylor’s emergency contact? When it comes to bras, Kim Kardashian has you covered.
The 35-year-old Golden Globe winner is on the cover of Vanity Fair’s winter 2026 issue and spoke to the magazine about the bond she has built with her All’s Fair co-stars, especially Kardashian, with whom Taylor pulled off some much-needed skims when Taylor found herself in a bind on set.
“When you’re on set with all the girls, there’s a group chat and you’re just chatting and just having a ball,” Taylor told the magazine. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, does anyone have this? Oh my god, Kim, I want you to call Skims. I need a bra ASAP.'”
“Our group chat is really upbeat,” she added of the text thread she shared with Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts and Glenn Close while filming the Hulu courtroom drama starring Ryan Murphy.
She’s not the only friend who’s a Skims fan. Kim revealed that Paulson is “proudly” wearing a recently released $32 thong that features fake pubic hair and promises the “ultimate bush.”
Meanwhile, Taylor, who just won the 2026 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in One Battle After Another, turned heads on the red carpet in another thong. This was dizzying.
For Vanity Fair, she wore a one-shoulder Ralph Lauren Collection gown and a custom pearl-encrusted crown by New York brand Bode to carry the torch as the Statue of Liberty.
For the issue commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, she posed alone for photographer Ethan James Green, wearing an antique and modern Gucci ballgown, on a dilapidated set that looked like it had been blown down by a hurricane at a political gala.
In other shots, she channeled Amelia Earhart in a Ferrari-style red leather jacket and pants, a New York vintage helmet and pilot’s goggles.
Taylor and Kardashian’s friendship began more than a decade ago, with Taylor releasing her second album VII on Kanye West’s GOOD Music label in 2014, and Taylor marrying Kardashian the same year.
Taylor also appeared in West’s viral 2016 “Fade” music video, appeared in Yeezy’s Season 4 fashion show that same year, and attended Coachella’s Sunday Service performance in 2019.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, she defended her longtime friendship with West, despite his anti-Semitic rants and erratic behavior.
“I don’t have to agree with everything he does or says, but I’m not going to abandon him and say, ‘Oh, that’s my mother,'” she told the magazine. “My brothers are doing terrible things that I don’t agree with…I’m not going to get involved in any of it.”
“If you want a real answer, ask me. So if he asks me a question, he knows he’ll get a real answer,” she continued. “I do my job behind the scenes and do what I need to do to help. I have a day job and I drink water.”
