Teyana Taylor revealed the only downside to co-starring with boyfriend Aaron Pierre in the “Long Time” music video.
The actress recently took Vanity Fair’s “lie detector test” administered by her “All’s Fair” co-star Kim Kardashian and opened up about her relationship with Mufasa.
When Kardashian, 45, asked Taylor, 34, if there were “any downsides” to working with her boyfriend, she answered candidly: “I think the only downside was that I couldn’t take him anywhere I wanted.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star simply responded, “Hmm.” Taylor added with a laugh: “Everything else went well.”
Pierre appeared as Taylor’s love interest in Taylor’s “Long Time” music video, which was released in June. The two have been romantically linked since February, when they were spotted together at various events, including the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty.
Taylor confirmed their romance on Instagram on Pierre’s birthday in June, just days after releasing the music video for “Long Time.”
Since then, they made their first red carpet debut at the premiere of Taylor’s latest film, One Battle After Another, on September 16th. Pierre, 31, said in an interview with Men’s Health magazine published Oct. 28 that the experience was “very easy.”
“I was so happy to be on the red carpet with Teyana,” he told the magazine. “It was so easy to do because I was supporting someone I love. Anything that feels right feels easy.”

Meanwhile, Taylor briefly addressed her relationship with Pierre, telling Sherri Shepherd on the Sept. 24 episode of Sherri, “I feel good, and feeling good feels good.”
That same month, Today co-host Craig Melvin also tried to get her to mention the relationship. “I’m very shy and end up blushing. I’m just shy,” she said, avoiding the topic.
Pierre appears to be taking a similar approach. He told Men’s Health that he is a “very private person.” “I actively encourage myself to step out of my comfort zone,” said Pierre, who has a son from a previous relationship.
“Being a father is my greatest joy and greatest privilege,” he continued. “He is everything to me. But I fiercely protect my son and his privacy. Everyone respects that, and the gratitude I feel for that is immeasurable.”
Taylor has two daughters, Lou Rose, 5, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 9, with her ex-husband, former NBA player Iman Shumpert.
