Teyana Taylor’s latest look is a masterpiece.
The 35-year-old singer and actress hit the red carpet at the SAG Actor Awards 2026 wearing a picturesque ‘Naked’ dress by Thom Browne that featured trompe l’oeil curves.
This custom design uses the same intarsia technology as Rebecca Hall’s head-turning bodysuit shown at October’s Academy Museum Gala. According to a press release, the illusion is created by stitching together more than 160 patterns.
Taylor’s look featured a strapless gown with a sparkling skirt embroidered with 400,000 sequins and 175,000 beads.
She wore slicked-back short hair with smokey eyes and a glossy nude lip, and accessorized with a matching Tiffany Leaves Necklace (featuring 47.27 carats of diamonds and retailing for an eye-popping $500,000) with Jean Schlumberger-designed Three Leaves Ear Clips ($46,400) and two diamond rings.
Taylor was nominated for Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in One Battle After Another at Sunday’s ceremony, and her eldest daughter Lou Rose Shumpert, 5, adorably fixed her skirt on the carpet and joined in the interview.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall and Chase Infinity, leads all films at the awards show with a record seven nominations.
The versatile Harlem native set the tone for awards season early when she donned a dazzling Schiaparelli thong to the Golden Globes in January, turning around on stage to flaunt the crystal-encrusted detail before accepting her Best Supporting Actress trophy. “The cracks are covered in diamonds,” she told E! on the carpet.
At the Critics’ Choice Awards, she showed off a different side of her style with a Saint Laurent menswear look and the same thigh-high boots previously spotted by Alexander Skarsgard, Brad Pitt, and Pedro Pascal, and added sparkle to her ensemble with Tiffany diamonds.
In late January, she further cemented her status as a fashion maverick by sitting front row at Schiaparelli’s haute couture show in Paris wearing a see-through lace ensemble and a crown of pearls.
And at last week’s BAFTAs, Taylor made a splash on the carpet while hiding her famously chiseled figure in a custom plum Burberry trench coat gown with a face-framing ruffled collar and a 50-carat citrine Tiffany Bird on the Rock brooch pinned to her shoulder.
Taylor choreographed Beyoncé’s “Ring the Alarm” music video in 2006 at just 15 years old, made waves with her dramatic turns in 2023’s “A Thousand and One,” and later played the role of resistance activist Paphidia in “One Battle After Another.”
She also released her fourth studio album, Escape Room, last August, which received a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album, and has her 2027 directorial debut, Get Right, in development at Paramount.
