Teresa Giudice is opening up about her estranged relationship with brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, telling Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she’s ready to move on.
“Time always heals – then you forget. You’re mad when it first happens,” said the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star while promoting her fierce run on Fox’s “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test,” where she competed alongside her daughter Gia Giudice.
“But now it’s…I’ve been married for three years, so it’s been three years. He didn’t come to my wedding, so we haven’t talked in three years.”
Teresa tied the knot with Luis “Louie” Lulas in August 2022. This is a ceremony to remember for Joe and Melissa, who chose not to attend amidst the tension filmed during “Rhonj” season 13.
Still, Teresa says she’s reflecting on the situation. “I can’t talk about the past. I really can’t because I can’t talk about the past,” she explains. “…I don’t think we’ll ever talk about the past, so we’ll just move on.”
Her olive branch comes as “Rhonj” faces uncertainty about its next season, with reports that Melissa is test-filming on a potential new “Housewives” and Teresa is not.
Last month, at Page Six’s first VRT Awards, Melissa directly addressed Teresa’s remarks. “The truth is, the doors have been closed for the last year,” she told “Virtual Reality” host Evan Real and Danny Murphy.
“She’s been shouting on multiple platforms, podcasts, whatever it is, that the door is closing. So the truth is, it’s confusing why it’s opening and cracking a little bit.”
Melissa said, “Neither of us have been in touch for probably two years at this point, so it’s so weird for that to come out of nowhere.”
Fans will be watching closely to see if this feud can finally thaw, or if the ice between Gorga and Judith is permanent.
“Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
