Need more toxicity? Hulu is ready. The streamer is launching the “Official ‘Tell Me Rise’ Podcast,” hosted by Stassi Schroeder, Variety can exclusively announce.
The nine-episode podcast will premiere on January 6, one week before the Season 3 premiere of Tell Me Rise, including a recap episode of Seasons 1 and 2.
Video episodes will be available in Japan on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, Disney+, and YouTube. Audio episodes will be distributed through audio channels in partnership with Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SiriusXM, iHeart Radio, TuneIn, Amazon Music, Pandora, and ABC News Audio.
Podcast guests include creator, showrunner and executive producer Megan Oppenheimer; The series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Costa D’Angelo. costume designer Charlotte Svenson; and composer Jay Wadley. Celebrity fans Lauren Mayberry, Katie Maloney, Teela Dunn and Jesse Draper will also appear. In each episode, those involved share behind-the-scenes memories, preview future developments, and provide detailed explanations of the drama.
Earlier this year, Variety exclusively reported that Disney TV would be launching a video podcast slate that would include podcasts on “Only Murders in the Building,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Murdau: Death in the Family,” and “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” “Paradise” and “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” podcasts will debut soon, with more in development.
Schroeder recently hosted the “Mormon Wives” Season 3 reunion special on Hulu and has also appeared on “Vanderpump Villa.” She hosted her own podcast “Straight Up With Stassi” from 2015 to 2024 and currently hosts the podcast “Straight Up With Stassi” on PodcastOne.
‘Tell Me Rise’ Season 3 picks up where Season 2 left off and continues in two different timelines. Lucy (Van Patten) and Stephen (White) rekindle their tumultuous romance in time for the spring semester of 2008 and their college days. The second time was in 2015, when Bree (Misal) was about to walk down the aisle to marry Evan (Cook). The first two episodes will drop on January 13th, with weekly episodes to follow. The final episode will be held on February 24th.
