Fans are still disappointed with all the flowers and decorations. However, as experts estimate that the overall cost is likely to reach up to $38,000, the surprising details tend to cost quite a bit.
Ashley Greer, the florist and owner of DC-based Atelier Ashley Flowers, who worked at the Obama White House Christmas Tree, breaks down the costs to people, including the types of flowers used and the structures they need to make it all come together.

Describing the scene as a “smart garden,” Greer highlights the many flowers used in the arrangements, as well as some of the symbolism they have.
“If you pull images from many of Swift’s songs, the magical garden scene is built in the trees in the forest in August,” Greer tells people, saying that the willows, ivy and roses are all used for the setup.
She adds that it is likely necessary to achieve 800 pounds of green to achieve this look, as well as 1,200 roses and at least 1,000 other flowers.
Greer explains how the scene focuses on a 20-foot “Domedo Aboretum.” The metalwork is covered with “mainly woven with Southern Smirax vines, moss, garden roses, anemones, roses, lilies and candles.”
Such structures usually cost between $18,000 and $30,000, depending on the floral company and where it is assembled, Greer says.

The two large concrete planters seen in the photo are filled with “extensions of the limelight, secret garden roses, delphinium and pink surprise lilies.”
According to Greer, the price of flowers for each bone n alone ranges from $1,000 to $3,000.

Regarding ground installation, the materials needed for this include “rocks, river rocks, plants, white duchess peonies, white scabiosa, ferns and rose pockets”, and “boxwood and lilies” are used to frame the path of the meadow.
She explains that all of these details used for ground installations are likely to cost between $4,000 and $5,000.
The “Willow” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35 years old, announced their involvement in a co-post on Instagram on Tuesday, August 26th, along with photos of the flower-filled garden proposal.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” Swift wrote in the caption.
