Taylor Lautner is reacting to his ex-girlfriend engagement!
The 33-year-old Twilight star, who dated Taylor Swift for several months in 2009, has shown support for Big News after Kansas City chiefs star Travis Kells revealed that he asked her to become his wife.
On Tuesday, August 26, hours after Swift and Kelce’s relationship became headlines, Lautner reposted the carousel to his first Instagram account the NFL shared.

The split photo of the first slide is one of the couple’s official engagement announcement photos, showing them being embraced in a garden filled with flowers. At the bottom was a photo of the “Love Story” singer, who the Kansas City chief happily met Kelse on the football field after winning the AFC Championship earlier this year.
“This is so crazy. I can’t believe this is really happening. I’m shocked,” Swift said as the tight end and his team won the big game.
Regarding the caption of the NFL post, the organization wrote “same” of excitement over the couple’s happy news.
Swift and Lautner left their relationship more than a decade ago, but the pair rekindled their friendship a few years after she “absolutely” abandoned him.
“When you respect someone for who they are, like your soul, I think it allows you to forgive, forgive and continue that love in a different way,” the actor said in a December 2023 episode of Alex Cooper’s Cole Her Daddy Podcast.

That July he joined the Grammy Award winner at the ERAS Tour concert in Kansas City, premiering a music video featuring her track “I Can See You.”
“He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album. I want to say he did all the stunts you saw in that music video,” Swift said as he introduced Lautner to the crowd. “He and his wife have become some of my closest friends. It’s very useful because we all share the same name.” Rautner is married to Taylor Dome in 2022 after the couple tied the knot.

Swift is famous for using her split to inspire song lyrics, but Lautner previously told people what it was like to be known as “Bad Blood” singer “Best Ex.”
“(That sounds like a nice compliment to me,” he told only people at the Lemons Foundation 1 Charity Gala in West Hollywood in November 2023. “I’ll take it.”

At the event, the Aidduction actor shared that his wife was “stubbornly quick.”
“She let me know that I’m the only ex without a Diss track right now,” Lautner added. “That sounds like a good thing. I’ll take it and run. There are no complaints here.”
The big engagement news between Swift and Kelce came out on Tuesday, August 26th, but in an interview with John Kosich from News 5 that same day, sportsstar father Ed Kelce revealed that the proposal was “probably two weeks ago, not two weeks ago” at Kelce’s home.
“It was beautiful,” he said at the moment.
