Swiftie brides, rejoice.
Travis Kelsey may have helped design Taylor Swift’s engagement ring, which features a special Easter egg dedicated to the pop star, but now fans can get this special design straight from the source — and for less than seven figures.
Jewelry designer Kindred Lübeck announced in VOGUE that her design house, Artifex, will launch a bridal line on April 10th.
Artifex Bridal by Kindred Lubeck consists of approximately 25 rings and coordinating bracelets, earrings, and other bridal jewelry released quarterly, each with her signature style, but no two are exactly alike.
“Aimed to support brides during and after their engagement,” the collection embodies Lübeck’s unique hand-carved style in each piece.
Lübeck designs its rings around stones, and claims that while each model is reused, “every ring will be unique. The body of each ring will be reworked to fit a new, hand-selected stone.”
“You’ll never meet someone with the exact same ring as you,” the designer added in an interview.
Lübeck says he can currently only produce about 10 rings a year, but “mass production is completely against the spirit of the brand.”
To expand his business, Lubeck will personally select each stone and hand it over to a jeweler who will “personally train” and “contract the hand carving technique.”
Her first drop includes not only a diamond engagement ring, but also a channel-set baguette wedding ring boasting a milgrain edging, a Lubeck-style tennis bracelet with a sunburst motif, and, of course, a 3.63-carat old mine cut diamond ring with halo and loop details.
Please set an alarm. Her first limited edition drop will be released on April 10th at 4pm, but it sure won’t be around for long.
