Even if Taylor Swift can’t attend a Kansas City Chiefs game in person, Dona Kelce is making sure she’s mentally on the sidelines.
The NFL mom, 72, showed her support for her future daughter-in-law at son Travis Kelce’s soccer game on Monday night, sporting a playful white baseball cap covered in graffiti referencing Swift iconography.
On the front of the hat, an illustration of her “1989” era pop star wore her then-signature Wayfarer shades, while other doodles called out song titles (“Shake It Off”), albums (“Lover” cassette tape), and Eras Tour outfits.
Kelce also nods to Swift’s lyrical changeup in homage to Travis by donning his Chiefs jersey with red and gold arrowhead earrings and a “Karma is a Chiefs Man” pin.
The devoted mom is a regular presence at Chiefs games alongside Swift. The two are often seen coordinating their game day looks and bonding in the stands.
Kelce is also set to appear on an upcoming season of “The Traitors.”
The pop star, 35, was not in attendance at the latest game between the Florida Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars. The “Fortnight” singer has been busy promoting her recently released Twelfth Studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” and appeared on “The Tonight Show Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night.
Earlier this week, to celebrate Travis’ 36th birthday, Donna reshared an Instagram tribute from the @KelceBrothers fan page. She was intentional about her audio choices, including the song “Opalite” from Swift’s new album.
The singer confirmed that it is her fiance’s favorite track.
“Travis’ birthstone is an opal because opals can be man-made like diamonds,” she told Capital FM Radio on Friday. “I always stuck with it (and) I always loved that stone. I thought it was a man-made opal, a cool metaphor that happiness can also be man-made.
Swift Travis went public with their romance in September 2023 and announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on August 26 of this year.
