Taylor Swift did not land in San Paolo to cheer on his fiance, Travis Kelce.
The pop superstar skipped the season opener between Querce and his Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil on Friday.
Sources told TMZ that it was not surprising that Swift was not present in the game as none of the teams travelled nearly 13 hours from Kansas City to support the team.
Swift representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment on page 6.
Friday’s match at the Corrington Arena in Brazil marked Kelse’s first performance since resignation claims were suspended.
The Chiefs were chosen to play in Brazil due to the NFL’s mission to expand international partnerships.
“Being a global sport is a major strategic priority for the league and for the 32 teams,” Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a previous statement.
“By increasing the inventory of international games, we can increase our global presence and share the games with exciting new markets that connect with more fans around the world.”
Swift skipped the game, but she’s not familiar with the South American country.
In November 2023, she held several shows for her era tour under extreme weather conditions. During that run, one of her fans tragically died of heat exhaustion.
Kelse, 35, shared in a recent “New Heights” episode of him and his team experiencing their own hurdles before he and his team reached the Corinthian arena.
“I know the stadium is two hours away from the hotel,” he shared Wednesday.
“It’s a unique experience of driving two hours into a gaming game. The old college football method we were driving.
However, the Super Bowl champion looked optimistic, saying, “It would be rewarding if we could go there and find a way to win knowing that this is a very unique schedule and a unique experience. But if we said we weren’t excited to go to Brazil, we’d lie.”
It was unclear whether Swift would be present until the game. However, sources have confirmed exclusively on Page 6 in March, and confirmed that Grammy Award winners will return to cheer for the Chief in as many games as possible, “of course.”
The weekly match comes days after Swift made several public announcements following her and Kelce’s engagement announcement.

She flew to Nashville to celebrate Brittany Mahomes’ 30th birthday, and before that, she attended a college football game with Kelse at Arrowhead Stadium to support his alma mater.
Page Six exclusively reported that the NFL star proposed that he and his current fiancée had just filmed their record-breaking “New Heights” episode.
It was also said that the pair decided to continue wrapping milestones for weeks before they finally shared Happy News with the rest of the world.
Swift and Kelce have been dating for two years, but in a joint statement via Instagram on August 26th, “Your English teacher and gym teacher are married.”
