Brittany Mahomes received a handwritten letter from Pal Taylor Swift after speculation that the pop star wrote the “Showgirl’s Life” track “Cancel!” About her.
The former soccer pro joined Instagram Stories on Monday to share a note inside the orange sparkling PR package he received from the Grammy Award winner, paying tribute to the release of his 12th studio album.
“If you’re reading this, you’re the special person who showed love, the person I respect, and ultimately someone I want to celebrate when I welcome the ‘showgirl life’ into the world,” the note reads.
“I hope you like these gifts and records! Love, a showgirl named Taylor,” Swift, 35, signed off. ”
The hitmaker also included vinyl and two t-shirts in the box.
“@taylorswift did it again,” the 30-year-old Mahomes captioned the photo. “It’s one of the best things about doing it and continuing.”
After fans speculated that the fan’s track “Cancel!”, Mahomes was one of many PR lists on Swift’s PR list. I was inspired by her.
In the song, the Grammy Award winner was a friend who was publicly ridiculed, a stretched hand, saying, “Have you got too close to the sun?
Then she continues singing.
“My whiskey sour / and like a nasty flower of poison / Welcome to my underworld / Where it gets pretty dark / At least you know exactly who your friend is / They are scarred,” continues Swift.
Fans suggested that Swift’s line about Gucci nodded to Mahomes after dressing as a fashion powerhouse at 2024 US Open.
At the time, the three mothers wore Gucci along with their husbands Patrick Mahomes, Swift and Travis Kels.
Swift also wrote an athletic nod on the track, sang, “Single Drop You Are Roster/Tone Deaf and Hot, Let’s Get Her Out.”
The Sports Illustrated model was attacked online as she subtly hints at her support of President Trump and particularly against Swift’s political beliefs.
Brittany was hit with heat after spraying NFL fans with a bottle of champagne after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in a 2022 AFC division playoff match.
At one point, she takes her to X to deal with the hatred she is experiencing, writing, “I hope I can do what I want without being attacked every week.”
