Taylor Swift shared an adorable (and innocent!) response to her mother Andrea Swift’s new song, “Wood.” The Raunchy “Life of a Showgirl” track on Travis Kelce’s “Manhood.”
“She thinks this song is absolutely about superstition,” the Grammy winner joked on Monday’s episode of Sirius’ “Morning Mashup.”
“It’s the joy of a double entender. You can read that song for that song, and it goes straight to their heads.”
Swift added, “See what you want to see in that song.”
The 35-year-old “Lovers” diva set foot in a new era when she released a smatty song on her 12th studio album last Friday.
She began the track singing about her ex-boyfriend and said, “Daisy’s naked naked / I’m distraught / He doesn’t love me / He doesn’t love me.”
“Penny’s bad luck / I brought him back and then stomped the crack / The black cat laughed,” she continued, adding, “And I’ll admit / I was a little more superstitious.”
Swift hints when she meets 36-year-old Kelse. “My fingers crossed until you placed your hands on mine.
Elsewhere on the track, she sings about “Hard Rock” and “Magic Wands” before lightly referring to the Kansas City Chiefs Star podcast.
“New heights of manliness/I don’t need to knock on a tree,” she closes.
Swift also hinted at his relationship with Kelse on several other tracks, including “Honey, “Fate of Ophelia,” and wi$h li$t.”
The A-list couple began dating in the summer of 2023 and got engaged in August.
The athlete and the “Cruel Summer” singer announced their engagement via Instagram with a sweet photo of the proposal, captioning “Your English teacher and gym teacher are married.”
Insider told Page 6 that Swift and Kelce are planning to tie the knot in Rhode Island. The pop star will own a multi-million dollar home next summer.
However, Swift closed the “aggressive” theory that she would stop her musical career when she got married on the “BBC Radio 2” show on Monday.
