Taylor Swift shares a story of the origins of her unconventional engagement ring, and it turns out she planted seeds with her fiancé Travis Kelce a year and a half ago.
“Want to see it?” Swift asked Emma and Jamie Teakston, co-hosts of the Heart Breakfast radio show, in a Friday morning interview, flashing the brilliant cut sparkler from the old mine. “He designed it with this incredible jeweller. Kindred Lebeck is her name. She’s all gold sculpted by her hands.”

Page 6 exclusively revealed that Kelse worked with Artifex’s Lubeck to design the work in August, but Swift revealed on Friday that he showed Kelse a video of Lubeck’s work just six months later.
“It turned out he was just paying attention to everything, because when I saw the ring, I (sighed),” Swift said. “I know who made it! I know who made it! I know who made it! I know who made it!”
Pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, began dating in the summer of 2023, revealing their relationship in one of his games in September.
Swift is currently on a promotional tour for her brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and is stopping by “Heart Breakfast” to discuss the record, but the conversation naturally turned into wedding plans.
“You’d think I was the type of person I’ve been obsessed with wedding ideas for my life, but I’ve never really thought about what I’d do or what I wanted before meeting people,” the Grammy winner admitted.
The “Two Weeks” singer vomits that Kelse’s attention to detail proved how well he knew her.
“It was like, ‘You really know me,'” she said.
For her morning show appearance, she wore a cozy cashmere St. Laurent sweater ($1,600), a pumpkin orange token colour from the “Showgirl” era.
She paired it with Alc’s Conan Wool Skirt ($395), a plaid wrap mini with patch pockets visible in behind-the-scenes snaps shared on Instagram.
Apart from the Major Beauble on the left ring finger, she was decorated with a Chanel CC pendant necklace and a Cartier Santos De Moisel Watch and Love bracelet.
Swift also had a Full Surcalfan Girl moment with Bunton, reminiscing about her childhood love for the Spice Girls.
