Taylor Swift predicted that he would not marry until the age of 35 early in her career.
In the clip that resurfaced after the pop star engagement to television host Travis Kelse, she joked, “we’re not allowed to marry until we’re 35” while focusing on her musical career.
“No, I’m late. Later in my life,” agreed Swift, now 35.
The “lovers” diva also shared that when it comes to her music, “always going to be personal,” adding, “I have nothing to hold in that category.”
The clip resurfaced shortly after Swift and her current fiancee, Travis Kelce, announced their engagement via Instagram on Tuesday.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” they captioned the photo from the garden suggestion.
A romantic snap showed Kansas City Chiefs Star, 35, on one knee, with another A-list couple hugging each other.
Swift also flaunted a new vintage-inspired engagement ring, estimated to be worth $1 million.
Kelce co-designed the ring with the help of Kindred Lubeck, a jeweller at Artifex Fine.
The athlete’s father, Ed Kelse, revealed that his son had asked Swift’s father for permission before he asked questions.
“This was probably a month ago,” Ed shared on “The Jimmy & Nass Show and the Emma Show” Tuesday.
“He was going to put off that until this week,” Ed told ABC News 5 Cleveland.
“I think she was a bit worried, but he was planning to postpone her until this week.
Ed shared that Taylor believed that she and Travis would grab some wine before dinner.
