Has Taylor Swift delved into her new album several times under Travis Kelse? Swift certainly thinks that.
After “Life of a Showgirl” was officially released on Friday, fans went to social media to comment on the specific lyrics to the pop superstar track “Opalite,” which appears to be referring to Kayla Nicole.
“Taylor Swift calls Kayla Nicole TF IM who lives in TS12 #ThelifeOfashowgril,” one fan wrote on X, while another added, “Opalite- Sweet Song and Kayla Digs are wild av.”
Line, which appears to refer to 35-year-old Swift, 33, said, “You couldn’t understand that, why did you feel lonely, you were actually in it, she was on her phone/and you were just a pose.”
The lyrics seem to imply that the host of the “Pre-Game with Kayla Nicole” podcast had an impact alongside 35-year-old Kelce. The former couple has appeared together on several red carpets in the past.
The re-engraved video also shows that Kelse once complained about calling Nicole too much.
The pair began dating in 2017 after Nicole exchanged some flirty interactions via Instagram before finally slipping into Kelce’s DMS on the Big Year day. Their relationship was on and off for five years.
However, since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end dated Swift, Nicole has been frequently asked about his past romance with Kelce.
In January 2024, the “Special Forces” alum shared on a podcast that she was “attracted by men in positions of power,” but she dated an athlete.

She added that she “loves” to date an executive of a record label or film producer so she can spend a date night at a sporting event.
In May, Nicole fought back at people who told her to “get over” her parting, saying, “Life handed me lemons, and I then made a lemon martini, which confused people.”
Swift never spoke publicly about Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, so it appears she finally got the opportunity to talk to her in “Oparite.”
The biggest clue is that the NFL star was born on October 5th, and he was born with opal and tourmaline.
However, “Opalite” is not the only “Diss Track” of pop music albums, as many Swifties think it’s a subtle jab at “all romantics.”
In particular, fans said the lyrics, “I heard you call me a ‘boring Barbie’.
Neither Swift nor her rep has confirmed who the inspiration she has for her to cut her word. Page 6 also contacted Nicole’s representative for comments.
