Taylor Swift is peeking behind the curtain.
The singer celebrated the success of her latest single, “Opalite,” with a slideshow of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the song’s music video and production, including rare makeup-free moments.
“I just want to take a moment to celebrate the memories of Opalite,” Swift wrote, adding, “I can’t even begin to express my excitement and am so touched by the love you’ve shown this song and video.”
In the first clip, Swift, wearing naturally curly hair and an oversized green sweater by The Row ($4,860, $1,458), sings the lyrics “You had to make your own sunshine,” there’s nothing glamorous about it.
She added a touch of glamor with a Piaget rose gold rose-shaped ring ($2,580).
In another studio session, she wears no makeup, this time a dark green sweater and a gold necklace with a vintage heart charm.
The 36-year-old is hard to miss without her signature red lip, smokey eyes, and typically straight hair.
Elsewhere in the post, she stands tall against a tinsel-covered set wearing a modest black turtleneck and dark gray pants, showing off one of her outfits, a combination of 1990s mom jeans, a striped turtleneck, and a denim vest.
“I’ve never felt that way about myself in my life,” she joked in a selfie video of her brunette look. “This is actually who I am meant to be.”
Then, wearing Ralph Lauren’s Olympic Edition Stars and Stripes sweater, she added a final toast to the project with an Orefos De Ville champagne flute ($350).
Her navy version has long sold out, but the summer-perfect white version of this American sweater is still in stock at Ralph Lauren ($398).
Swift also took time to talk about her recent success, which saw a song from her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, reach No. 1 on the Hot 100.
“To put this in perspective…in fact, it’s been almost 12 years since my album ‘1989’ released in 2014 that I’ve had two Hot 100 #1s from one album!” she wrote.
“We are so grateful to our fans who helped make this song possible by welcoming it into your lives with open arms.”
