Taylor Swift never stole her best Selena Gomez lightning at her wedding.
While appearing on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, October 6th, the 35-year-old pop superstar said in a speech at Gomez’s wedding that she didn’t mention her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce because she wanted to focus on the bride on her big day.
In a segment where Swift was rumoured with host Jimmy Fallon, she was asked if she told 33-year-old Gomez at her wedding, “You beat me to the altar.”
Swift replied “No.” “I gave a speech, but I made the point not to actually say anything about my engagement. “I was like, ‘Don’t mention that.’ ”

Swift then joked about her ring, “Let me look back on it,” and adjusted it to face it.
“I’ve come to see her as the most elegant and gorgeous thing I’ve seen in my life – not just a bride, but just a vision. I’ve never seen anything as beautiful as her on her wedding day.”
The singer of “The Fate of Ophelia” continued to share the content of her speeches, saying in 2008 he “feels a light tease” about the pair’s dress sense, “the year we met.”
“It was a deep, deep V-neck year. It was a year of aggressively colorful skinny jeans…” Swift laughed. “Serena – Her favorite outfit at the time was a very long tank top, skinny jeans, but a small vest… I always looked late to a cowboy themed junior prom.

Swift will soon become a bride after announcing her engagement to 36-year-old Kelce on August 26th. The couple began dating in 2023.

At tonight’s show, Swift showed off her stunning engagement ring and said, “I’m constantly watching it.
As for Kelse, she described him to Fallon as “my favorite person I’ve ever met.”
“This is the fact that I am the person I hang out every day forever, that’s all about it. You see it, and you ‘I’m going to hang out with him forever, and this (her ring) represents it,” she continued.
