Taylor Swift is reportedly going to be a supportive bride at the soft launch event of his fiancee Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime Steakhouse.
According to a new report from TMZ, the “Blank Space” singer celebrated the upscale eatery alongside NFL star, who co-owns the Kansas City restaurant with chief steammate Patrick Mahomes.
Sources said the newly engaged couple arrived “holding hands” around 6:15pm local time and went up the spectacular stairs to meet other supportive friends and family at the event. Throughout the evening, they kept things in a “slack but affectionate” state with each TMZ.
The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, 35, reportedly wore a blue denim dress with wedge heels, and gave the blonde lock a side-sweep look. Meanwhile, Chiefs tight end 35 rocked the cap with a modest atmosphere and green striped top as he enjoyed the quality time at the semi-private corner booth.
The insider adds that the pair “behaved like a normal couple” with their soft openings, sneaking into kisses from time to time. The athlete was also reportedly found joking with his teammates and stealing his fiancé at a glance from across the room.
Couple BFFs, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, also reportedly attended the Soirée with their children, but sat “separately” from Kelce and Swift.
According to the outlet, they took a little time to chat with the singer and her husband. Swift hugs his young daughter, Golden, 8 months old, playing with other children: Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2.
Outlet insiders said restaurant staff and guests were excited by the power couple’s arrival and while knowing people at the event, Swift shared that it was “funny, elegant and friendly.” They also reportedly made time to surge on the singer and “say she’s greeted everyone who has passed away.”
Swift and Kelce representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. A spokesman for 1587 Prime was unable to comment.
The restaurant is set to launch hard on September 17th.
The couple’s prominent appearance in Kelce’s new venture comes just days after a stylish appearance ahead of the Chiefs’ season opening game in Brazil.
Swift didn’t appear in Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, where the Chiefs lost, due to a 13-hour intense flight to San Paolo.
On August 26, the couple announced their engagement in photos of a rose-filled backyard proposal that actually happened a few weeks ago.
The NFL star popped the question with the gorgeous cut diamonds of an impressive old mine, estimated to be worth $1 million.
Sources previously told Page 6 that the couple had settled in Rhode Island for a marriage where “next summer” will be held. Another insider added that the ceremony will be private and “more casual than people think.”
