Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse are engaged after a two-year date, the couple confirmed on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” they captioned some photos from the dreamy suggestion.
Kansas City chief tight end (35) was photographed on one knee in a beautiful garden and photographed 35-year-old Swift with an engagement ring.
“Love Story” singer Sparkler featured the gorgeous cut diamonds of an old mine in a gold bezel environment designed by Kelce himself with the help of his relative Lebeck of Altifex Fine Jewelry.
Swift appeared on the moon as she hugged and kissed her. The pair then posed to take a photo to celebrate the milestone moment.
For the sake of suggestion, Kelse made sure that Swift adjusted their outfits as he wore a blue Polora Floren dress while Swift rocked a navy cable knit sweater on the same label.
They announced their engagement two weeks after the singer sat down for his first podcast interview on his “New Heights” show. She also released her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
However, Page 6 confirmed that Kelce popped the question “a few weeks ago.”
The two began dating in the summer of 2023, and since then fans have been predicting the potential for engagement.
In August 2024, NFL insider Adam Schefter went viral as he suggested the pair was heading to the altar in a fun segment of “NFL Live.”
During the episode, Laura Rutledge discussed Kelce’s decision to become the owner of some of the three-year-old racehorse, named after the singer.
“No, it’s not an engagement ring, but it was quickly adjacent,” Rutledge said. “A racehorse named Chiefs tight end (buy) – wait for it – quick delivery.”
However, the Schefter jumps in immediately and asks why Rutledge believed that Kelse hadn’t bought the ring yet, and how she believed that she “had that information.”
A few weeks ago, Insider told Page 6 that Kelse had plans to get a job with her knees bent, and that the engagement was “already happening soon.”
The update comes days after Morgan Warren concert participants overhear the wife of the top chiefs’ executives discussing the pair’s plans to get married.
Kelse also reported that Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, had already asked for her marriage hand.
“Scott was asked for his blessing and he gave it with all his heart, and Travis has been talking about the ring with his friends,” a source close to Kelse told us at the time.
The following year, Swift sparked rumours of a new engagement when her hands appeared blurry in a photo from the Eras Tour Lap Party, later covering her fingers with leather gloves from an NFL game.
In May, the Daily Mail reported that the next step in romance would be “front and centre… conversation” as Kelse concludes his soccer career.
Before the pair’s famous connection, the “anti-hero” singer had a short-lived flight with 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

The former couple’s romance began in May 2023 and occurred a month later, fans believe they have inspired most of her songs in the “Tortured Poets Division.”
Another part of the album appears to detail her farewell from Joe Alwin, who split together for over six years.
The “Two Week” singer began dating Kelce a few months after calling it Alwyn. It is believed that she wrote “So High School” and “The Alchemy” about her athlete Bo.
Kelse had said goodbye to longtime girlfriend Kayla Nicole when she met Swift, but was famous for trying to give pop stars numbers on tour shows of the era.
Despite Swift refused to meet Kelce behind the scenes in July 2023, it has since been connected, with the rest being history.
