Taylor Swift supported Traviskells in the soft opening of Steakhouse last night. The couple were kissing throughout the event. Swift and Kelse recently announced their engagement, but they are not planning their wedding yet.
Taylor Swift did not attend Travis Kels’ NFL opener in Brazil on Friday, but made a quiet move last night to support his partner. TMZ reports that the singer attended the soft opening of 1587 Prime Steakhouse in Kansas City, Missouri. Kelse and his teammate Patrick Mahomes are co-owners.
The photos still don’t float Swift, but sources told TMZ that she and Kelce were affectionate during the event. They arrived hand-in-hand at 6:15pm, with Swift wearing a blue denim mini dress. The couple spent time at the “semi-private corner booth” and chatted with family and friends.
According to sources, Kelce and Swift “behaved like a normal couple. They ran with their teammates, exchanged quick kisses, and smiled across the room whenever they fell apart.” They talked with their guests for two and a half hours before spending the rest of the night in the area behind them.
The news of the outing comes hours after sources told people that Swift and Kelce were against having a massive public wedding.
“[They]want to keep it more private,” the insider said, “It’s definitely a private event, not a sight. They both have a close circle of friends and they’ll respect their privacy.”
Swift loves her engagement days and the old mine-cut diamond ring that Kelce gave her. “She’s incredibly happy. It’s all perfect.”
On August 31st, sources told people they were not in a hurry to have a wedding. “They are not in the planning stage of their wedding yet,” the insider said, “Now they just want to get engaged and they want to take their time on it. It doesn’t have to keep it a secret anymore and they’re happy it’s public.”
