A month after Swift attended her first Chiefs game, Kylie revealed that her daughter Wyatt is Swiftie. She posted a video on TikTok of a young fan watching a football game. “You just have an alert kid trying to learn soccer or a kid trying to avoid napping. You never know,” Kylie wrote.
November 2023
Kylie quickly set the record straight after seeing a New York Post headline suggesting that she was “trying to avoid the spotlight with Taylor Swift.” This excerpt was compiled from Kiley’s interview with Kansas City’s Spectrum News.
“Go watch that video. Watch that interview,” she urged viewers on TikTok. “I said I didn’t mean any attention to me.” She said the headline “sounds like a stretch to me,” adding, “You’re getting there!”
December 2023
The Today show shared an Instagram post in which Swift’s publicist denied rumors about Swift and ex Joe Alwyn. Users noticed that Kylie liked the post.
January 2024
Jason confirmed on his New Heights podcast that Kylie and Swift first met in person on January 21, 2024. They watched Travis’ Chiefs team play against the Buffalo Bills from their suite. Jason was seen taking off his shirt in his private viewing box, and you could tell he was overwhelmed with excitement throughout the match.
“She was already telling me to be on my best behavior because I was meeting with Taylor. So she was like, stop, be on your best behavior,” Jason said of Kylie’s orders. “I was like, ‘Kylie, the first day we met, I got drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the charm. This is part of the charm of Jason Kelsey. I want to make the best first impression. This is my best chance!'”
The day after the game, Travis’ childhood best friend Aric Jones also shared an Instagram carousel that included photos of Swift and Kylie. The following week, model Kelly Sperry Teller shared a TikTok of Swift and Kyrie celebrating the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win.

March 2024
On March 31, Swift and Travis celebrated Easter at Jason and Kylie’s home in suburban Haverford Township, near Philadelphia. According to the Daily Mail, Swift met Kylie’s daughters Wyatt, Elliott, and Bennett for the first time. (Her fourth child, Finley, wasn’t born until the following year; more on that later.)
Shortly after, Kylie appeared on the Today show and talked a little about Travis and Swift’s new relationship. “Ultimately, if Trav is happy, we’re happy. We’re always rooting for Uncle Trav,” she said. “It’s great to be able to do that on and off the field. But it was amazing.”
June 2024
Kylie, Jason and Travis attended two of Swift’s London shows during her Ellas tour on June 21st and June 22nd. According to People magazine, Jason reportedly exchanged friendship bracelets with fans.
The following week, Kylie was spotted singing Swift’s 2008 hit “Love Story” at the New Heights Beer Bowl charity event in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. On X, the podcast shared a clip of the moment and wrote, “Sing it, Ky!!!”
February 2025
On February 8, the night before the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, Swift and Kylie were spotted hanging out with friends and family at Gianna Restaurant in New Orleans.
Later that week, Kylie appeared on the podcast “Call Her Daddy.” She revealed that she knew about Swift and Travis’ relationship even before Jason and Swift made their first public appearance at a Chiefs game in September 2023. She also talked about her shared connection to Swift’s jersey. “We grew up attending the same Shore Point school,” she said. “So her family was like Sea Isle, Stone Harbor. And that’s exactly where I grew up. I’ve been going to Sea Isle City all my life.”
Kylie then addressed rumors that she and Swift avoided each other until they first met in January 2024, saying, “I’m not avoiding anyone.” “I’m so happy to have met someone, especially someone that Travis is dating.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, Kylie recalled not being able to eat the dinner that was prepared for her on a double date with Jason, Travis, and Swift. “I wasn’t eating much because I was eight weeks pregnant,” she said. “It was one of those things that was just too much for me to bear.”
After the episode was released, some listeners online suggested that Kylie refused to eat Swift’s cooking. However, Kylie debunked that claim on the Feb. 20 episode of her podcast “Not Gonna Lie.” “It was a little confusing because the meal at home was like a private dinner,” she said. It was prepared by an “excellent chef”.
“I couldn’t enjoy home-cooked meals not because I refused to eat, but because my unborn child gave me hormones that suggested that if I ate anything other than crackers, my symptoms might come back if I noticed my tendencies,” she added.
She also criticized discourse that “pitches women against women,” saying, “It seems foolish and counterproductive.” Shouting out to Swift, she added, “Anyone who asks me directly, I tell them very openly how much I love and appreciate her and how much I love the fact that I can see how happy Travis is. And that’s what I care about.”
April 2025
On April 1st, Kylie and Jason announced that they had welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Finley, two days earlier. In a joint Instagram post, the two shared a photo of their newborn baby and wrote, “Oh, there’s a girlfriend! Finley ‘Finn’ Ann Kelce March 30, 2025.” Swift showed her support for the couple by liking the post.
May 2025
On May 11, Swift and Kylie attended a Mother’s Day brunch with Travis, Jason, and their mom Donna Kelce. They celebrated the occasion at Philadelphia restaurant Talula’s Garden.
August 2025
Swift appeared on the Aug. 13 episode of New Heights and recalled meeting Kylie and Jason for the first time in January 2024.
When the former Eagles player asked if he knew Kyrie told him to be on his best behavior, Swift replied: “I didn’t know what was said, but one of the first things I saw was something like Kylie saying, ‘I was just shotgunning beers with Bills Mafia, but I really want to jump through one of the fire pits. I want to jump through one of the fire pits. I want to jump on the burning table.'” And she said, “Okay, why don’t we do that now?” ” he says. ”
“I’ve since heard her say the exact same thing to your 4-year-old, like, ‘Mom, I want to throw this pudding against the wall, wouldn’t that be fun?'” Swift added, then repeated Kylie’s refrain. Jason then admitted that it was a “common phrase” Kylie said.
During the episode, Swift also praised the pair, telling Jason, “You’re exactly what I thought you were. Kylie is exactly what I thought she was, just the real deal, the smartest, the coolest. You’re amazing.”

Swift and Travis announced their engagement on August 26th, and Kylie reacted to the news during an appearance on Good Morning America. “My daughters are so excited,” she said of her daughters in a Sept. 5 interview. “They are so excited to have another aunt and we couldn’t be more excited for them and their future. We love Love and we love Taylor and Trav.”
October 2025
Kylie gave her unfiltered thoughts on The Life of a Showgirl’s most provocative song, “Wood,” on the Oct. 9 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. After hearing the song, which includes racy lyrics that reference Travis, she joked, “Maybe I didn’t need to know so much about my brother-in-law.”
Still, she gave the Kansas City Chiefs players their due. “Good job, Trav!” Kylie said. “It’s about women supporting women.”
